We are in the year 2109. The ecosystem of our planet has suffered serious damage. Through the fault of humanity, it has gradually deteriorated, leaving behind only a few scraps of what was once the essence of our world and what we called « nature ». Of its former wealth, there is almost no trace left and humans have had to exile themselves on huge space colonies orbiting the Earth. Into this world, a powerful consortium was born, whose objective is to transform our planet into a resort, creating areas able to accommodate a limited number of inhabitants. Our story begins on one of the many space colonies, an unhealthy slum: Slick Star Midas. It is there that the bounty hunter Range Quaterman and his friends try to survive, soon to be caught up with a terrible scheme involving drugs, cybernetic manipulation and cloning.
