Set one year after the war with Glenn, Elseria, who is now crowned emperor, tries to stabilize the kingdom, filled with dissidents, and in that is helped by Köinzell, now Lord Viceroy Ascheriit,alongside the imperial general Geranpen, his chief official Ato and Ikfes, the swordsmith, known as Blattmaster. In southern part of the empire, Helenhild, a remote area,a new threat, a resistance force made up of remnant loyalists of Glenn, called « Knights of the Dead King », who believe in his eventual resurrection, have started to act up and sow seeds of unrest.
